个人简介:
1989年毕业于第一军医大学医疗系本科,并于1995和1998年分别获医学硕士和博士学位;1998-2005第二军医大学东方肝胆外科医院国际合作生物信号转导研究中心工作;2006-2007在美国Burnham医学研究所工作;2007到厦门大学生物医学研究院组建癌症研究中心。获上海市医学科技奖一等奖和上海市科技进步奖二等奖各1项,担任Cancer Res, Carcinogenesis, Molecular Cancer, Biochem Pharmacol,BMC Cancer,Curr Top Med Chem, Genomics Proteomics and Bioinformatics和ActaPharmacol Sin等杂志资深审稿人 (Peer Reviewer)。是Cancer Res, Carcinogenesis, Molecular Cancer,BiochemPharmacol,BMC Cancer,Curr Top MedChem, Genomics Proteomics and Bioinformatics和ActaPharmacol Sin等杂志资深审稿人 (Peer Reviewer)。近年,主持了包括国家高技术研究发展计划(国家863项目, 2007AA09Z404)、科技部国家国际科技合作专项(第十期中国新加坡联合研究计划JRP10,S2014GR0448)、国家自然科学基金(30971445、30070833、30070345和31340029)、国家自然科学基金与香港研究资助局联合科研基金(30931160431;N_HKU 735/09)、国家自然科学基金重大研究计划(90913015,合作申请)、福建省重点项目(2007I0023和2012I0010)、福建省自然科学基金项目(2009J01198)以及海洋重大专项等十余项科研项目。
主要研究领域
主要从事肿瘤信号转导和抗癌药物的研究工作,稍早期主要开展肝癌相关基因的克隆、鉴定、功能研究,以发现肝癌新的分子标志物,近年来主要研究核受体在调控细胞生长、凋亡、代谢和免疫中的作用,研究其信号转导调控机制,以鉴定新的治疗靶点,并籍此新的信号转导的理解,对可能的治疗药物进行改进与优化。
核受体(nuclear receptors)是类固醇激素、甲状腺激素、性激素、维甲酸、维生素D等化学信号的受体及配体未明的多种孤儿核受体,是人体细胞核最大的超家族蛋白,对生长发育、新陈代谢、细胞分化及各种病理生理过程均有极其重要的调节作用。这类受体通常在核内作为转录因子调控靶基因的表达,有趣的是,几乎所有的核受体还存在一种不依赖于其转录调控的新型分子机制起作用,称为核受体的非基因型功能,这种新型作用机制的发现是近10年来核受体研究领域最重大的进展之一,为开发新型治疗药靶提供了新的依据。这种非基因型作用主要是在疾病过程中由于应激、癌基因活化及代谢产物的刺激等,使核受体发生磷酸化修饰、甚至切割,并转位到细胞质和线粒体,是细胞核蛋白参与线粒体功能调控的典型代表。这些受体转位到线粒体后,可以启动线粒体的死亡通 路、影响线粒体的能量和物质代谢。
团队成员:刘杰,助理教授。先后在Developmental Cell, FEBS Journal, JBC等杂志上发表文章。承担国家自然科学基金,福建省自然科学基金,福建省卫生厅等多个科研项目。实验室每年招收博士生1-2名,硕士生3-4名。
