研究领域(Research Area

核糖核酸在细胞核中被转录,而蛋白质在细胞质中被翻译合成。蛋白质与核酸通过核孔复合体实现细胞核与细胞质之间的穿梭。核质转运对于正常和病理状态下的细胞都具有重要的调节功能。核孔蛋白作为核孔复合体的成员,参与核质转运的调控。实验室的研究兴趣集中于核质运输以及核孔蛋白在抗病毒防御和神经发育与再生过程中的生理功能和作用机制。


Our laboratory studies the functions of nucleo-cytoplasmic trafficking during neural development and antiviral defense. mRNA is transcribed in nucleus and transported to cytoplasm for translation. Proteins, such as transcription factors, need to be transported into nucleus to exert their functions. The trafficking of proteins and mRNA in and out of nucleus occurs through Nuclear Pore Complex (NPC). Nucleoporins are components of NPCs and involved in nucleo-cytoplasmic transport. We mainly focus on whether and how nucleo-cytoplasmic trafficking regulates neural development and innate immunity.
