Recently, the CPC Central Committee Organization Department announced leading talents list of the second batch of  Ten Thousand Talents Program. Professor Shengcai Lin, core member of the State Key Laboratory of Cellular Stress Biology, was selected as one of the scientific and technological innovation leading talents.

National High-level Personnel of Special Support Program can be called “National Special Support Program” or “Ten Thousand Talents Program” for short. It is a program jointly launched by 11 departments including Central Organization Department, Human Resources and Social Security and so on and orients domestic in the future 10 years to select ten thousand elitists, leading talents and outstanding young scholars in natural science, engineering technology and philosophy and social science field in batches and then gives them special support.

Till August 1, 2016, a total of 620 scientific and technological innovation leading talents and 336 leading technology entrepreneurs had been selected into this plan.
