研究领域

代谢紊乱与神经退行性疾病的发生发展密切相关。本课题组以中枢调控代谢的核心区域下丘脑为研究对象,利用代谢疾病模型,转基因和基因敲除小鼠模型等实验手段,研究糖代谢和脂肪代谢在神经退行性疾病中的调控作用。

Research Area

The prevalence of neurodegenerative disease rises along with extended lifespan over the last fifty years. It has been shown that metabolic dysfunction has a strong correlation with neurodegeneration. Our research group focuses on the role of hypothalamus, which is known as a key area in central nervous system modulating energy metabolism, in the regulation of neurodegenerative disease induced by disruption of homeostasis of glucose and lipid metabolism.
